Web fonts session at TypeCon

At this year's TypeCon event in Los Angeles there are a few sessions devoted to web fonts and online typography. On Friday, August 20th there are some presentations in a track titled "The Future is Now: The Brave New World of Web Fonts", followed by a panel discussion on web fonts. Ascender's Bill Davis is participating in the panel discussion.

Lindsey Pro - new script fonts now available

Lindsey was designed by Steve Matteson and was inspired by his niece's handwriting.

IE9 Final Preview announced

Yesterday Microsoft announced the final preview version of the new Internet Explorer version 9. Ascender and DevBridge were one of many developers who provided feedback to Microsoft. We tested the new WOFF feature in IE9 and helped give the IE team insights into some issues we found during our tests. These have been corrected in the new IE9 platform preview.

According to reports, IE9 beta will be available in the coming months. FontsLive will continue to support all versions of IE, including the new IE9 when it is released.
